Prunus laurocerasus ‘Genolia’ is a slender, upright cherry laurel ideal for narrow, space-saving evergreen hedges. It forms a dense, columnar screen with glossy green foliage and is well-suited to sun or shade, making it a versatile choice for privacy and year-round structure in formal or architectural settings. If left unclipped until after flowering, it bears white flower clusters in spring. When grown as a hedge, allow for an eventual height of about 34m and a natural width of roughly 11.5m in time.
Feeding time: Spring Trimming time: Late spring (MayJune) after flowering; a second light trim in late summer (August) if needed
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
