Tibouchina lepidota Alstonville

Tibouchina lepidota Alstonville is a showstopper that knows how to put on a performance. Growing as a small tree or lush, full shrub, it features sturdy woody stems and beautifully textured, rippled leaves with a soft, pale underside that adds subtle contrast. When late summer rolls into autumn, the foliage almost disappears beneath a dazzling flood of rich rose-purple blooms, each one glowing like a little burst of colour in the garden. Give it a confident prune every few years and it will bounce back with fresh vigour, staying dense, tidy and ready for its next floral encore. Perfect for larger gardens and ideal for making an impact in parks, golf courses and street plantings, Alstonville is all about bold colour, lush growth and effortless drama.
